Today, I went to an amazing reptile show. The reptile man, Bruce Schwedick, showed the audience a variety of different reptiles. One of those reptiles were, a sixteen-foot Albino Python.
Fun Fact: Did you know that there are three different theories on how constricters kill their prey? The three theories are, that constricters squeeze their prey to the point of crushing their bones, constricters squeeze their prey and end up cutting off their prey's blood circulation, and that constricters actually suffocate their prey to death.
The only lizard that Mr. Bruce brought, was a rhinoceros iguana. The rhinoceros iguana probably got it's name from the bunch of scales that are shaped like a rhinoceros' horn on the tip of it's nose. The chinese alligator, named Chopsticks, that Mr. Bruce brought in, was a big hit! Everyone in the audience was whispering to their neighbors about how dangerous alligators were, or about how they have an alligator living in a pond behind their house. Me, well I just kept quiet until the entire show was over. The next reptile that Mr. Bruce had brought out, was a small rat snake, or corn snake. It looked like it was only about two feet long. After the entire show was over, I started to talk again. And guess what? I got to take a picture with the sixteen-foot long Albino Python!

Which Pet?
Right now, I'm trying to decide whether I should get a pet Sugar Glider, or if I should get a pet Turtle? The things about a Sugar Glider are, that it will pretty much eat anything and that it needs a big cage to live in. With small plants and a friendly, fellow Sugar Glider. The things about a turtle are, it needs to be fed (of course), it needs clean water, it's habitat should be cleaned often, and it needs to loved. A Sugar Glider needs lots of attention, lots of love, a clean cage, and a friendly owner to care for it. Well, I'm still trying to decide whether I should get a pet Turtle, or whether I should get a pet Sugar Glider? What do you think?

This Months Story: Derek's Dogfighting Club
As Justin ran, he could feel his feet slipping on the wet cobblestone street. The rain was pelting his face as if someone was throwing rocks at him. He stopped to catch his breath and wiped his forehead with the back of his hand. The moonlight was shining on his back and it made him feel exposed. "When am I going to get there?" Justin whispered to himself.
He started to walk again and saw a dark figure out of the corner of his eye. He turned to face the figure and it turned around and ran away. Justin wanted to know who the figure was so he ran after it. The figure was very fast and Justin could tell that it knew that it was being followed. In about two minutes, Justin could tell that he was in a very dark alley. The figure stopped and faced Justin. Then, to Justin's amazement the figure opened a door on the side of a building.
A bright light filled the alley and blinded Justin. He closed his eyes and felt a warm breeze wrap around him like a warm blanket. He felt relaxed and suddenly felt the warmth leaving him. He opened his eyes and the light disappeared. He ran over to the door that the figure had opened and knocked. The door opened and a tall man with several scratches on his face looked down at Justin.
"What do you want?" the man asked. "Well, my dad is the owner of this place." Justin said. "Oh, I'm sorry." the man said. Then he smiled at Justin and motioned for him to come in. Justin nodded and walked in.'
"Welcome to Derek's Dogfighting Club." the man said. He closed the door and Justin followed him into the arena so he could find his dad.
